Martine Jackson


Ms. Martine Jackson comes as a legal professional, partner, business owner, business management consultant, trained and skilled leadership advisor, community leader and volunteer, and philanthropist with extensive service lines incorporating legal services, economic development, establishing high performance work teams and information technology services.

Ms. Jackson received her combined Juris Doctorate and Masters of Business Administration degree from Southern Illinois University. Her undergraduate degree in International Business Administration is from Pace University, New York. She holds certificates in Mediation and Conflict Management in the Workplace from DePaul University. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and a former member of the Association for Conflict Resolution as well as the National Association of College & University Attorneys. She has also been recognized by local and state government officials for her success and effectiveness in economic development.

Ms. Jackson is licensed to practice in all Illinois State and some Federal Courts. She concentrates in Employment, Litigation, and General Business Law. She counsels clients on how to manage their workforce in compliance with applicable equal opportunity, wage and hour, discrimination and disability laws. Her success in evident in the dozens of businesses she has helped to establish and/or provide counsel to in the Southern Illinois region.

In an effort to give back to the community, she co-founded “LawSuits”, a program established in partnership with Southern Illinois University School of Law that provides professional attire to law students in need that are striving to succeed as professionals. The program fosters a unified effort with the community that fosters participation from members of all aspects of the community including but not limited to professionals in the banking, accounting, business and legal fields. The fundamental purpose of LawSuits is to not only provide affordable, quality professional attire, it instills a sense of philanthropy and commitment to give back as students graduate and begin to fulfill their career objectives and goals.

 In conjunction with her commitment and passion for helping others, she is frequently asked to be a guest speaker at Camp CEO and Operation Boot Strap; two programs established to provide individuals with an insight into the realm of entrepreneurship. Her topics range from how to properly form a company, the regulations and laws associated with owning and running your own business, to how to establish agreements for partnerships; family ownership and succession planning.
