Kelly Towle Kirkbride is an attorney who has been practicing since 1999. She received a B.A. in Speech Communication, concentration in writing, from the University of Illinois in 1983. After spending 13 years in the workforce primarily in government and for non-profit organizations, Ms. Kirkbride decided to pursue a career in law. She attended Southern Illinois University School of Law where she graduated in the top one-third of her class in 1999. While in law school, Ms. Kirkbride organized the National Health Law Moot Court Competition for two years, was Moot Court Board President and was a staff member of the Southern Illinois University Law Journal. Ms. Kirkbride also organized and was President of the Southern Illinois Non-Traditional Law Students, a group focusing on and promoting the success of older law students. In her third year, Ms Kirkbride was honored to be a recipient of the Lincoln's Inn Award and was named Best Casenote/Comment Editor of the Southern Illinois University Law Journal.
