Founded in 2005 by Beth Boggs, managing partner of Boggs, Avellino, Lach & Boggs, L.L.C., Step
It Up, Inc. helps underprivileged families in St Louis and the Metro East. The fund's primary purpose is
to provide free shoes and socks to needy children. Through its partnership with Head Start, Step it Up organizes
monthly center visits to provide new footwear to all the center's children.
The fund's volunteer board, led by Darin Boggs, organizes willing volunteers to size and fit
the children with new shoes and socks to make sure the students have footwear that fits properly.

families in need throughout the St. Louis Metro Area.
We accept donations and distribute
the donated items, such as bedding, clothing, utilities and furniture, to the various
families. In turn, each item donated becomes another man’s treasure.
